Rainbow Right
The Ski jumps in Lake Placid, New York are just visible through the trees..
Certainly a different view of the jumps than normal. However, this is what you would see a little down the road towards Whiteface. If you walked off the road and through the woods eventually you see a spectacular view of the jumps.
I call this picture "Rainbow Right," to remember him as a part of my past. I really can say I was on downhill skis before I could walk. You see Rainbow Right took me down the hill, while I was still a baby in a back pack. Unfortunately, he died tragically quite sometime ago in a skiing accident.
The original watercolor is 13 X 20 inches unmated.
