First Day - Carousel
The first day of January, 2008 was a special day. First night, the evening before was spectacular, but what made this first day special was that it snowed.
The snow put a fresh touch to everything and turned all of Congress Park into a fairyland. Normally the city workers would have cleared the walks, and salted the roadways. However, this first day was special and the new snow covered the city till nightfall.
This is an image looking at the snow covered Carousel in Congress Park. If you look closely you can see one of the horses through the window.
