Burns
The image is of the statue of Burns in Washington Park in Albany, New York.
The tree in the background is what interested me most of all in this image. I saw the statue in the very early spring and assumed the tree in the behind to be a willow. However, having now seen the tree in full bloom it is something else.
This image is a
watercolor created on a half sheet of Arches cold pressed 140 paper. The
original measures 13 x 19 approximately and with a mat frames nicely in a
standard 19 x 26 frame.
